The purpose of the Diesel Opacity Inspection Program is to reduce particulate are pollution from diesel powered motor vehicles that are registered or operated in the Front Range area.

**all emissions components must be installed, intact, and apparently operational. Removing, disabling, or eliminating Emissions Control Equipment is a failure of the emissions test.**
Light Duty $85 ($80 cash)
Diesel powered passenger cars and trucks with a GVWR of 14,000lbs or less.
2 Wheel Drive
Vehicles must be able to be driven in 2WD. Can not run AWD vehicles.
By Appointment
Diesel Emissions are performed by scheduled appointment. The end of the month gets busy and booked up, so call early to schedule your appointment. (970)667-7396.
Walk-In Testing
Walk-ins welcome when not conflicting with scheduled appointments.

Diesel powered trucks with a GVWR of greater than 14,001lbs.
12' Height Maximum
Vehicles can not exceed 12' high. Every exhaust stack, boom arm, box, A/C unit, satellite dish, etc must completely drive under a 12' high garage door.
Test Proccedue
A diesel emissions test consists of a visual inspection of any and all emissions control systems and a tailpipe opacity test with the vehicle run on a dynometer at 40, 50, and 60mph.
Results
The results of your diesel emission test are uploaded directly to the state of Colorado and your county clerk within 1-2 business days.
Free Retest
If your vehicle fails emissions at our shop, we offer 1 free retest after the repairs are made.
